Divi Tree Coffee In Point Boro Is The Place 'To Go' Amid COVID-19

POINT PLEASANT BORO – At least one customer says he chooses Divi Tree in Point Pleasant Boro even though his son owns a coffee company.

Mike Whittles, a customer, said the outstanding products and people are what's important to him.

"It's a daily stop for me and the irony is my son owns a coffee company," said Whittles. "I support him, but love Divi Tree's Brooklyn coffee."

Divi Tree is among several establishments nominated for Patch's "Business of the Year" in Point Pleasant Boro as many businesses continue to battle through the coronavirus pandemic.

But it was these businesses, the customers say, that also came through for others in need – even as they were struggling themselves.

On its website, Divi Tree Coffee said the business is a family-owned, artisan coffee company fueled by "our passion for community connection and our obsession for great, quality coffee, done right."

"We use the best green coffees on the market, roasted to perfection, and pair them with top quality ingredients to craft the best start to your day," the site says.

"We hope you carry that feeling wherever you go and keep coming back each morning."

Patch readers nominated a Local Businesses of the Year. The local businesses included retail stores, restaurants, hardware shops, dry cleaners, plumbers, car mechanics, salons and more.

Patch will feature nominated businesses in December.
