Why are you running for office?
I am running for office to take on the serious challenges facing our state and make our state a better, more affordable place to live and run a business.
What is your platform?
We need to cut government spending and reduce New Jersey’s overwhelming tax burden, which is making our state increasingly unaffordable. I will continue to fight the irresponsible policies in Trenton that undermine our public safety and our quality of life.
Do you have previous experience in the world of politics and government?
I have served in the Assembly since 2017 and was a Mayor and Committeeman in Wall. I also served on the Wall Township Planning and Zoning Boards and spent more than 20 years on the Board of Trustees of the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS).
What is the most important issue facing your constituency, and how do you plan to deal with it?
The most important issue facing my constituents is our affordability crisis which is forcing many people to flee for less expensive locations like Florida and the Carolinas. In addition to reining in our irresponsible spending and cutting taxes, we need to address our structural challenges, including the pension crisis and our ballooning debt, which threaten our fiscal health.
Why should voters vote for you?
I have unique financial expertise and government experience needed to take on the serious challenges facing our state. In addition, I will continue to fight the irresponsible and dangerous policies put forth by the Governor and his allies, and I will continue to make sure the citizens I represent have their voices heard in Trenton.
