Elizabeth T. Hanson Of Point Pleasant Dies At 89

Elizabeth T. Hanson of Point Pleasant died on Wednesday Dec. 20, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. She was 89.

Elizabeth was born in the Laurelton section of Brick. She lived in Kearney for several years in Kearny before moving to Point Pleasant in 1956. Elizabeth was a self-employed home health aide.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Oscar in 1988.

Surviving are three sons: David and his wife Sandra, Richard and his wife Jody, and Eric and his wife Jennifer. Also surviving is her daughter Bette Thomas and eight Grandchildren: Elizabeth (Betsey), Josh, Jordan, Claudia, Taylor, Hunter, Claire and David.

Visitation hours will be held Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home 2170 Route 88 in Brick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Laurelton Baptist Cemetery in Brick.
