Football: Point Pleasant Beach Falls to Dunellen
The Garnet Gulls are unable to muster much offense against their Middlesex County opponent.
Point Pleasant Beach ran into a wall on Friday night on its nonconference trip to Dunellen, as the Destroyers put the clamps on the Garnet Gulls and walked away with a 32-8 victory.
Point Beach was able to muster a touchdown on a 53-yard pass from Jake Fioretti to Mike Frauenheim, but on the ground the Gulls were held to just 41 yards rushing.
The Garnet Gulls (3-2) host Keansburg next Friday at 7 in a Shore Conference Class A Central matchup.
