Football: Point Pleasant Beach Falls To Shore Regional
The Garnet Gulls lost running back Mike Frauenheim for the rest of the season with a broken collarbone

Point Pleasant Beach was shut down at every turn Friday night, as Shore Regional came away with a 17-0 victory over the Garnet Gulls in a Shore Conference Class B Central football game in West Long Branch, according to the Shore Sports Network.
For Shore, it avenged the Blue Devils’ loss to Point Beach in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group I championship game.
The teams could face off again in the playoffs.
