HOLLYWOOD, CA — Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, of MTV's reality show "Jersey Shore," was arrested in Hollywood Hills Friday for attacking his girlfriend, according to police. The reality TV star, who has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence before, reportedly had to be tased by police after allegedly brandishing a knife and chasing his girlfriend.

He was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and booked on $100,000 bail, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jeff Lee. The LAPD, responding to multiple 911 calls, arrived at the 7200 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive at 2:40 a.m. Friday and came upon a chaotic scene, TMZ.com reported. According to Fox11 Los Angeles, police broke down the door to get into the home, believing Ortiz-Magro's child was inside the home and in danger.

Ortiz-Magro was arrested after allegedly "striking Jen Harley, chasing her with a knife and, eventually, forcing cops to tase him," TMZ reported. "Ronnie and his GF, Jen — who've been on and off due to several violent incidents — got into another heated argument early Friday morning ... at an Airbnb they're renting in L.A."

"As we've seen in the past ... the argument got out of hand quickly, because we're told Ronnie allegedly slapped and punched Jen ... who then went running out of the house, screaming for help," according TMZ.

The website cited law enforcement sources claiming that that Ortiz-Magro chased Harley with a knife while holding their 18-month-old daughter. Officers Arrested Ortiz-Magro after the couple went back into the house, according to TMZ, which noted that Fox11 Los Angeles broke the story.
