Live Wires Down On Route 35 In Point Pleasant Area (UPDATE)

Live wires were down on Route 35 Friday as roads were closed in the Point Pleasant area to correct several problems.

Route 35 between Downer and Herbert in Mantoloking were closed because of live wires down, police said.

The road was closed until further notice.

Northstream Parkway between Bridge Avenue and Route 88 was also subject to closure or detour because of utility work.

Police will be directing traffic.
