Bridgewater Resident Films Possible Coyote In Backyard
Bridgewater resident caught on video what appeared to be a coyote walking through her snow-covered backyard on Wednesday, March 15. The animal was spotted by Sue Reilly off of Sherwood Road. The footage is a little hazy, but the clear between the trees allows viewers to make up their own minds as to the finding.

N.J. DWI Checkpoints/Patrols For St. Patrick's Day Weekend
St. Patrick's Day is a time of celebration, garnering travelers from all over the country. Patch put together a list and map of DWI checkpoints and enhanced patrols — of which there will be numerous — in New Jersey, per an announcement by state police, from Aberdeen to Watchung. The Divisions of Highway Traffic Safety released a set of guidelines encouraging safety among visitors and travelers alike to ensure a safe St. Patrick's Day weekend for motorists and pedestrians.

Fast-Acting Cranford Police Help Deliver Baby
It took nine minutes, from the time a 911 call went out to police to the moment of emergency personnel's arrival, for the birth of a healthy Cranford baby. Officer Gregory Federici arrived first at the home of the parents-to-be and found that Gina Petrillo-Medler's water had broken. Gina's husband, Kase, and officer Ryan Gerrity and Brian Trotter joined in the effort and successfully delivered a 7-pound, 13-ounce newborn, named Kasey Thomas Medler, at 10:38 p.m.
Thursday Morning Fire Sends One To Hospital In Hopatcong
A fire the morning of Thursday, March 16 sent one person to the hospital with burns to his head and face. Firefighters responded to a Lakeside Boulevard home fire just before noon. It was not immediately clear whether the fire had spread to a second structure or if only one building was affected. The injured person was driven to Morristown Hospital for treatment.
3 Men Busted For Drug Trafficking In Gloucester Township: Police
Three Atlantic County men were arrested in Gloucester Township after attempting to sell 2 pounds of crystal methamphetamine as part of a large-scale drug trafficking organization, according to authorities. Police said the men acquired crystal methamphetamine from Mexico and distributed the drugs throughout the Camden and Atlantic County areas. The men were arrested Wednesday, March 8 following a three-month, multi-agency investigation that resulted in the execution of search warrants at a home in Atlantic City.
