Peter J. Martorana Of Point Pleasant Dies At 39

Services for accident victim will be held on Saturday

Peter John Martorana died on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017. He was 39.

He was born in Norwalk, Connecticut. Peter was raised in Point Pleasant, where he lived for most of his life.

Peter worked as a carpenter for The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiner of America Local Union 254. He was an avid New York Giants and Mets fan. He loved playing outdoors, golfing and fishing.

Pete was very giving, kind and funny. His greatest joy was spending time with his loving children and wife.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Katherine Husar Martorana; his three cherished children, Benjamin, eight, Grace, five, and Maxwell, (two); his parents, Peter Martorana and Lynn (stepmother), Rhonda Martorana and Alan (stepfather); his siblings, Wesley Martorana and wife Sara, Alan Bogdziewicz and wife Lauren, John Martorana, Parrish Maschefzky and husband Steven, Ember Bogdziewicz and Lindsay Martorana.

Viewing will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017 at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick, NJ. A 4 p.m. funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
