POINT PLEASANT BORO – Kendall Roche says Pinnacle Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine in Point Pleasant Boro goes above & beyond for its patients – especially during the COVID-19 crisis.

Knowing that many people would be suffering – mentally and physically – as they've been confined largely to their homes, the owners opened their business to help their community.

And, as a result, "it truly shines through their work and extends even further through their employees," Roche said.

"Anyone who walks through the door is family," said Roche, an employee. "We are helping people stay healthy and heal – something we all desperately need after this year we've all had."

Pinnacle Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine was among a number of Point Pleasant Boro establishments nominated for Patch's "Business of the Year" as many businesses continue to battle through the coronavirus pandemic.

But it was these businesses, the customers say, that also came through for others in need – even as they were struggling themselves.

One customer named "Lauren" said Pinnacle has the "greatest staff in the world."

"I especially love Troy, the PT Aide, who makes sure everything is clean and sanitized," she said. "I always feel safe, welcomed, and genuinely cared for when I come in for PT!"

Pinnacle shows the kind of efforts the business is making to stay safe amid COVID on its Facebook page.

Cheryl Roche, another customer, said Pinnacle has "excellent and professional service" and has "a very knowledgeable staff."

"They will work with you best they can," she said.

Patch readers nominated a Local Businesses of the Year. The local businesses included retail stores, restaurants, hardware shops, dry cleaners, plumbers, car mechanics, salons and more.

Patch will feature nominated businesses in December.
