Point Boro Approves New Superintendent
Adam Angelozzi will take over as superintendent of the Point Pleasant School District, effective July 1.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ – At their meeting on Monday night, the Point Pleasant Board of Education approved the hiring of Adam Angelozzi as the district’s new superintendent of schools, effective July 1.
Angelozzi, the current principal at Manalapan High School, will replace current superintendent Vincent Smith, who is retiring. Angelozzi’s term is for five years, ending on July 1, 2026.
Angelozzii spoke briefly after his hiring was approved, thanking the board and saying that he was looking forward to joining the Point Pleasant community.
