Point Boro Superintendent Thanks Teachers In Video
During Teacher Appreciation Week, Vincent S. Smith, Superintendent of the Point Pleasant School District, thank the district's teachers.

POINT PLEASANT—During Teacher Appreciation Day last Tuesday, outgoing Point Pleasant School District Superintendent of Schools, Vincent S. Smith, made a YouTube video thanking the district’s teachers for all the hard work that they do.
“I just want to take a moment to congratulate and thank our teachers for all their hard work and dedication,” Superintendent Smith said in the video.
“Today is Teacher Appreciation Day, and I think it’s most appropriate that I take this time and reach out and thank them.”

Superintendent Smith made sure to point out the work that the teaching staff has done since the pandemic took over.
“Since last March, we’ve been in a different time of education, and our teachers have responded tremendously to all the pressures and concerns and health issues that we had to deal with,” Superintendent Smith said.”

With his tenure coming to an end on June 30, Superintendent Smith wanted to thank the teachers for their support over the years.
“My days are numbered here as Superintendent of Students, so this is a time where I can say to my teachers; thank you for your support over the years,” Superintendent Smith said.
“You have been a great support system for me, and I am going to miss everyone.”
