Point Boro Tree Lighting Canceled
Event planned for 6 p.m. Sunday is canceled due to icy roads
A tree lighting and holiday event planned at Point Borough's Community Park at 6 p.m. Sunday has been canceled due to icy roads, said Mayor William Schroeder just before 4 p.m. Sunday.
The annual tree lighting and visit from Santa had originally been scheduled for this past Friday evening at Community Park, then was moved to Sunday and now is canceled. If the event is rescheduled, Patch will post that update.
