Point Pleasant Artist Launches '100 Shore Things' Project

Point Pleasant artist Melissa Hood began the project “100 Shore Things” in April. She will attempt to paint 100 Jersey Shore themed paintings in 100 days.

Hood has collaborated with nearly 80 photographers, dozens of locals from social media, local businesses, and the Point Pleasant Beach Arts Committee to build a project that will truly celebrate the creative side of the Jersey Shore.

In April Hood painted at the Smithville Art Walk, and she will be painting at live events and attend a variety of local art festivals as she completes the work. More events will be listed as they are organized.
