Point Pleasant Beach Schools Posts Updated Return To School Plan
The plan is a necessary obligation to the district receiving grant money to cover expenses incurred during the pandemic.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ – The Point Pleasant Beach Board of Education posted their updated Safe Return plan for the 2021-22 school year on their website last week.
The plan's creation was a mandatory condition to the district receiving two Emergency and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) grants totaling $955,256 from the New Jersey Department of Education.
In the current plan, which will be updated as regulations regarding COVID-19 change, the plan is for masks to be worn when in the building but not needed outdoors for recess or gym class.
Social distancing will also be followed according to the current guidelines instituted by the state and CDC.
