Point Pleasant Beach's Festival Of The Sea Coming Up Soon

Popular annual event will be held on Sept. 17 in the downtown area.

Members of the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce and a host of vendors are prepping for the annual Festival of the Sea coming up on Sept. 17.

The event is rated the top seafood festival in the state, according to the Chamber's Facebook page.

"Of course it is not just about seafood," a post states. "Taste a wide selection of different foods and desserts."

There will be music in the afternoon and plenty of seats. Admission to the event is free.

The rain date will be Sept. 18.
