Point Pleasant Man Charged with DWI in Wall
Arrest followed call from passing driver about a disabled car on Allaire Road

A Point Pleasant man was charged with drunken driving in Wall early Monday morning, police said.
Clifford Cicogna Jr., 35, was charged at 6:35 a.m., police said.
Wall police were contacted by a passing motorist to investigate a disabled vehicle on Allaire Road just east of Route 34, according to a prepared statement from Wall police.

"Further investigation revealed that 35 year-old Point Pleasant resident Clifford Cicogna Jr. drove off the roadway in his 2007 Lexus and into a nearby tree line," police said.Â
Cicogna was subsequently arrested by Officer Frank Kuhl for drunken driving, processed and released to a responsible party, police said.
