Point Pleasant Memorial Day Celebration Includes Some New Events
Ceremony is at noon in Community Park.

Memorial Day in Point Pleasant this year will kick off with a bike parade for kids before the annual ceremony in Community Park on Sunday, May 28, according to the borough's website.
"We have also added activities in the hopes of educating and involving a younger generation about the brave men and women that have served our nation," Mayor Robert Sabosik said. "These will take place before the ceremony and include a bicycle parade, coloring contest and essay contest."
The bike parade is open to children ages 2 to 12. They should line up at 10:30 a.m. at Community Park. You can preregister your child online or on the day of the parade. Children must be supervised by adults, and must wear helmets.
