Rain Shuts Down Jenkinson's Amusement Park On The Last Day Of The Season

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ - If you were hoping to take your kids on the rides at Jenkinson's Amusement Park today, you'll have to wait until next season, according to a post on the park's Facebook page.

"Unfortunately, due to the weather, the ride park will remain closed today," the post states. We want to thank every single one of you for visiting the park and for allowing us to be a part of your summer memories. We had a wonderful, fun summer and hope you all did too! Until next year..."

The park had several delayed openings recently due to iffy weather.
