No Injuries When Boat Overturns in Point Pleasant Canal

Nobody was injured when a boat overturned in the Point Pleasant Canal over the weekend.

According to the Press, the boat began taking on water Saturday at 12:34 p.m., but all of the occupants escaped safely, the Asbury Park Press reported.

Another boat towed away the overturned boat, and the crew escaped unharmed because everyone was wearing a life jacket, a New Jersey state trooper told the newspaper.
