About Three-Fourths of Point Pleasant Seniors Are Vaccinated
According to state data, 36 percent of all eligible Point Pleasant residents are fully vaccinated.

POINT PLEASANT – About 75 percent of senior residents of Point Pleasant are fully vaccinated, according to data released by the state’s Department of Health on Monday.
The state's COVID-19 dashboard has a breakdown by percentage of every person who has been partially or fully vaccinated in every town in the state.

- Point Pleasant population with at least one dose: 46 percent of all ages, 58 percent of adults (18 and older), and 84 percent of seniors (65 and older).
- Point Pleasant population fully vaccinated: 36 percent of all ages, 46 percent of adults, and 74 percent of seniors.
A goal to fully vaccinate 70 percent of all adults in the state, about 4.7 million people, was set by state officials to get done by the end of June. As of Monday afternoon, about 3.6 million people in New Jersey have been fully vaccinated. All people 16 and older in New Jersey are eligible for vaccination, but sixteen- and 17-year-olds can only get the Pfizer two-dose vaccine.
