UFO Sightings Reported In New Jersey In 2016: Check Out The Full List

The National UFO Reporting Center keeps records on all reported sightings, and six were reported in December in New Jersey. Did you see one?

Did you know that there were six UFO sightings reported in New Jersey in December alone? And in 2016 there were 128 sightings reported in communities all across New Jersey, according to the National UFO Reporting Center?

Now don’t get us wrong, we’re not saying there are or aren't UFOs, but according to the National UFO Reporting Center, the most recent sighting in New Jersey occurred in Skillman on Jan. 19 at 5:06 p.m.

In that specific case someone reported six "perfectly vertically aligned lights hovering, after coming from different directions."

"Looked like 6 planes converging as though they were going to crash," the report said. "Then they lined up vertically with perfect spacing in between them and hovered for at least 10 minutes. I was driving so I don't know how long they stayed there."

Spooky stuff indeed, right? Other sightings reported in December and January were from residents in Bridgewater, Hardyston Township, West Deptford, East Orange, Burlington, Monroe Township, West Collingswood, Haskell, Matawan and Asbury Park

And in case you’re wondering what the National UFO Reporting Center is, it’s been around since 1974 and it investigates UFO sightings and has put together a list of more than 90,000 sightings around the world.

In January, a Bridgewater resident reported that, for 10 minutes, a UFO was "perfectly still, hovering right over a highway."

"I took a video with my phone as we drove," the person wrote on Jan. 15.

In East Orange, someone reported on Jan. 1 that they saw a "flash" and "three big balls," one red and orange, the other two "small and white."

On Dec. 3, in Matawan, there was another report of a "flash," with a person driving down Route 35 "when we see a huge bright blue flash light up the sky."

"It was an oval shape, roughly the size of a football field," the person wrote.

Sometimes, the reports get pretty detailed. More on the Dec. 3 report:

"We waited and it happened again another minute later," the person said. "We expected to hear some sort of BOOM, but there was no noise. Just eerie silence. We waited to see if it would happen again to record it, but it stopped."
