The Woman's Club of Pt. Pleasant wishes everyone good health.
All members of the Woman's Club would like to wish every one a healthy, happy, & safe summer.
The Woman's Club of Point Pleasant had to cancel all of its major fundraisers this year. We are sorry about this, but would like everyone to know we still and always will appreciate your past patronage to our events and look forward to seeing you again when we are all able to move about freely and safely. It is because of you we are able to help so many of those in need and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts from all our members.
We will, once again, be collecting our usual service items when we can open up our clubhouse. So, if you have any of the items, please save them. We appreciate any and all donations. Some items we collect are : clean used linens for local pet shelters, soda can tabs for Ronald McDonald House, old cell phones for Domestic Violence Victims, old eyeglasses for New Eyes for the Needy, cancelled postage stamps for the missions, clean used mascara wands for Wands for Wildlife, and a variety of items such as cake mixes, icing, candles, paper plates, napkins, & candy, which are used to make Birthday Bags for kids in shelters so kids there can have a birthday party.
We are still always committed to our service projects and have been working on several even during this pandemic. One of our newest projects is having a few members sewing cloth goodie bags, which we will fill with kids activities, for children in the hospital after having life saving Clef Palate surgery.

Also, we are in the planning stages of hosting a Fall Rummage Sale at our clubhouse. Watching the rules and restrictions for guidance, we are hoping to be able to go forward in September. Keep watching for updates.
Stay safe and healthy ---- Thank you,
