Woman's Club of Pt. Plsnt. = DAY OF SERVICE !

In our effort to continue our Day of Service projects, we are looking to collect items for local organizations on Saturday, February 20 th.

Once again we will be collecting our usual service items even though we cannot have our usual Day of Service Day in our clubhouse. We are planning a collection drop off day, at our clubhouse, February 20th from 1 - 3 PM.

We will be following social distancing rules. Masks are required. Thank you for your support - looking forward to seeing you.

Please, if you have any of the items listed below, please save them. We appreciate any and all donations. Items we collect are : Food & supplies for St. Gregory's Pantry such as unexpired canned goods, coffee, tea, pasta, peanut butter, cleaning products, shampoo, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes; and clean towels and linens for local pet shelters, pull can tabs for Ronald McDonald House, old cell phones for Domestic Violence Victims, hats & scarfs for the homeless, eyeglasses for New Eyes for the Needy, gently used sneakers/shoes for Soles for Souls, cancelled postage stamps for the missions. If you would like to write a note or have your child create a drawing to be given to a military service person, police officer, fire fighter to appreciate them, or have children's drawings for people who are in assisted living facilities or for people on Meals on Wheels, please feel free to drop them off as well & we will see that they are distributed where needed. We also can use a variety of items such as boxed cake mixes, icing, candles, colored cake size paper plates, napkins, which are used to make Birthday Bags for kids in shelters so kids there can have a birthday party.
