3 Teenagers Hit By Driver In Long Island City

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Three teenagers were hit by a driver in Long Island City on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

The teens were hit by the driver around 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of 21st Street and 45th Avenue in Long Island City, according to a police report, which stated that EMS were called for help.

All three teens were transported to New York Presbyterian Manhattan; two are in “stable” condition and one has “serious” injuries, according to the NYPD report.

An NYPD spokesperson told Patch that the accident happened a block away — at 21st Street and 44th Avenue.

Both intersections on 21st Street have marked crosswalks and traffic lights at every part of the intersection.
