4 Men Wanted For Robbing Astoria Gas Station: NYPD

The men are accused of stealing $600 from the gas station's cash register and an employee's cell phone, police said.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Four men are wanted by police for stealing $600 from the cash register of an Astoria gas station.

The men walked into the Mobil gas station at 43-07 Astoria Blvd. about 7 p.m. Saturday, went behind the sales counter and pushed aside the 60-year-old man working the register, the NYPD said in a news release.

One of the men grabbed the cash register and slammed it on the ground to break it open, according to police.

The men also took the worker's cell phone and other merchandise from the gas station shop, police said.

The NYPD is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information on the suspects.
