Annual Picnic Celebrating Bangladeshi Culture To Be Held Saturday
A celebration of Bangladeshi culture will take place this year, following two years of canceled events due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

ASTORIA, QUEENS – A celebration of Bangladeshi culture will take place this year, following two years of canceled events due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Moulvibazar District Society of USA Inc., will hold a picnic on Saturday at Rainy Park, 34th Ave and Vernon Blvd from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The picnic will feature a five-course lunch and drinks, as well as games.

The event will also include appearances by Representative Caroline B. Maloney, New York State Assemblyman Zohran Kwame Mamdani, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Queens Together Jonathan Forgash and former Council Members Elizabeth Crowley.
