Apple TV+ Leases Space At Kaufman Astoria Studios: Report
Apple's streaming service is leasing 90,000 square feet in Kaufman Astoria's new soundstage and production facility, according to a report.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Astoria residents will soon have Apple TV+ producing the next big binge watch in their own backyard. The streaming service has leased 90,000 square feet at a new soundstage and production facility at Kaufman Astoria studios, according to a news report.
The deal at Kaufman Astoria Studios' ONstage facility, which was completed last year, became one of the largest leases in the borough last year when it quietly closed, The Real Deal reported.
Apple TV+ is leasing the 35,000-square-foot, ground-floor soundstage as well as 40,000 square feet of production space and 15,000 square feet of office space, according to The Real Deal.

It will not be the tech giant's first appearance at Kaufman Astoria Studios. Apple has been filming "Dickinson," based on the life of the poet Emily Dickinson, in one of its studio spaces, The Real Deal reported.
