Astoria Swingers Club Busted For Hosting 80-Person Sex Party
The New York City Sheriff's Office shut down the sex party for violating pandemic restrictions.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Revelers at an Astoria swingers club were caught in the act overnight Saturday after the New York City Sheriff's Office shut down a sex party for violating pandemic restrictions.
Caligula New York, which bills itself as a "private social club" where couples and singles can mingle and "take it to the next level," was busted just after midnight for hosting at least 80 people and serving alcohol without a liquor license.
When deputy sheriffs arrived, they found three couples having sex in a small room, according to NBC4 New York.

The swingers club is located in a portion of Astoria that became a state-designated yellow zone last week, which limits gatherings to no more than 25 people.
The designation, part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's micro-cluster approach, applies to regions where more than 2.5 percent of coronavirus tests come back positive over 10 days.
