Battle For NYC's Best Burger To Be Fought At Queens Grill Off

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Fire up the grill: 10 of New York City’s top burger joints are gearing up for the bun-and-patty battle of the year, coming Aug. 16 to Long Island City.

Time Out New York's Battle of the Burger event will be held in two sessions at 5:30 and 8 p.m., when foodies from across the five boroughs will have a chance to taste test these meaty combinations, washed down by free Budweiser on the Queens waterfront. The “ultimate burger” will be crowned at the end of each session.

Each general admission pass includes unlimited burger tastings, complimentary Budweiser and other various refreshments, access to the Hooters side dish station, ice cream treats, music and games. And, of course, there will be plenty of fries.
