BJ's Wholesale Club Opens New Queens Location
The wholesale club opened Friday in the Plaza 48 mall on 48th Street, according to a news release.
LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — BJ's Wholesale Club opened its newest Queens location Friday in the Plaza 48 mall, according to a news release.
The store is enacting enhanced cleaning procedures and social distancing and will require employees to wear masks and get their temperatures checked.
It is located in the former home of National Wholesale Liquidators, according to the Long Island City Post.

"We're thrilled to expand our presence in New York," Lee Delaney, president and CEO of BJ's Wholesale Club, said in a statement last year, when the location was announced. "BJ's brings a fresh approach to the wholesale club experience by providing our members with outstanding value and convenience on everything they need for their family."
The wholesale club at 34-60 48th St. is the chain's 221st location.
