ASTORIA, QUEENS — A body wrapped in a blanket and trash bags and tied with duct tape was found in the East River on Monday, according to police.
NYPD officers pulled the unidentified man's body from the water near 30th Road in Astoria about 11:15 a.m., a police spokesperson said.
Responding medics pronounced him dead.
