Coronavirus Testing Tent Now Open At Mount Sinai Queens
The tent outside the Astoria hospital is offering PCR tests — considered the gold standard — and promising results back in 24 hours.
ASTORIA, QUEENS — Astoria has gained another coronavirus testing site, thanks to Mount Sinai Queens.
The hospital's new testing tent on 30th Road and Crescent Street is offering PCR tests — considered the gold standard in coronavirus testing — on a walk-in basis to anyone not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
Results come back in about 24 hours, according to a spokesperson.

The tent, which opened about two weeks ago, is conducting tests Monday through Friday between noon and 7 p.m.
