Dates To Know In Astoria, Long Island City This Week

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Most meetings and events may be virtual nowadays, but there's still plenty going on in Astoria and Long Island City.

Patch has compiled a list of events for neighbors to mark on their calendars. From community meetings to family events, here are the dates to know for the week of Jan. 31.

Local Meetings & Events

Monday, Feb. 1: The Queens Borough Board, chaired by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, will hold a virtual public hearing on the Mayor's Fiscal Year 2022 Preliminary Expense and Capital Budget at 10 a.m. For more information, or to register to speak, click here.

Tuesday, Feb. 2: Queens Borough Hall and Hungry Monk host a food giveaway at 12:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

Wednesday, Feb. 3: Queens Community Board 1 hosts a land use and zoning meeting at 6:30 p.m. over Zoom. Members will issue a recommendation on The Rock Health & Fitness's rezoning application for 22-06 31 St. and hear presentations on two other rezoning proposals. Click here for more information.
