ASTORIA, QUEENS — Most meetings and events may be virtual nowadays, but there's still plenty going on in Astoria and Long Island City.

Patch has compiled a list of events for neighbors to mark on their calendars. From community meetings to family events, here are the dates to know for the week of Jan. 24.

Monday, Jan. 25: City Council Member Costa Constantinides, the Queens Public Library and the New York City Department of Design and Construction give an update on the new design for the Astoria library branch at 12:30 p.m. over Facebook Live.

Thursday, Jan. 28: NYC Parks hosts a virtual visioning session for the reconstruction of Queensbridge Baby Park at 6:30 p.m. Click here for details.

Queens Public Library hosts a "Beat The Blues Concert" with The Unique Band NYC, an R&B/soul and pop cover band, on Monday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. in a Facebook livestream.
