Applications to serve on a Queens community board are due by the end of the day Friday.
QUEENS, NY — Civic-minded individuals have one more day to apply to serve on one of Queens' 14 community boards.
Prospective members and current members have until midnight Friday to apply to represent the neighborhoods where they live or work as a member of their local community board.
This year's community board application is completely online. In the past, applications had to be signed and notarized, then submitted in-person at Queens Borough Hall.
