Free Food, Hot Meals To Be Distributed At Queensbridge Houses
The cure-violence program 696 Build Queensbridge will distribute 100 hot meals and bags of food from local pantries ahead of Thanksgiving.
LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — The cure-violence program 696 Build Queensbridge will distribute hot meals and bags of food to families at Queensbridge Houses ahead of Thanksgiving.
Community Capacity Development, the nonprofit behind 696 Build Queensbridge, is partnering with the restaurant Zoe's Place to give out 100 prepared meals.
Bags of food from the food pantries 9 Million Reasons, Bread of Life and Center of Hope will also be distributed to families, according to a news release.

The "survival day" meal giveaway will take place 4 p.m. Wednesday at 10-31 41st Ave.
