Trying to get a taste of different kinds of foods? This food market will be just the place for that. A warehouse in Astoria will be renovated and is being developed by company EJ Stevens Group into a food market called World Artisan Market. According to sources the market will have 16,000 square feet of indoor space and 2,000 square feet of outdoor space, totaling 18,000 square feet.

The food market is set to have different kinds of food to represent different regions of the world. So far they have signed Sotto La Luna an Italian restaurant and gelato stand, Elevenses a French-Scandinavian bakery. It is also set to have food vendors varying from Korean, Indian, Caribbean, South American and African cuisine. The restaurants will have seating of their own.

Although not a set date, it is set to open in Astoria at 34-39 31 St by the end of Winter this year.
