Silvercup Studios is getting sold to a group of real estate investors for $500 million, the Wall Street Journal reported.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Silvercup Studios is getting sold to a group of real estate investors for $500 million, according to a news report.
The Long Island City film-studio lot is being acquired by a group of investors led by Hackman Capital Partners, which also owns Culver Studios and Television City in Southern California, the Wall Street Journal reported this week.
Silvercup is known as the site where "The Sopranos," "30 Rock" and "Sex and the City" were filmed, according to the Journal.
