Man Shot On Center Boulevard, Shooter At Large: Police

A man was shot in the leg and the torso Tuesday night in Long Island City, according to the NYPD. No one has been arrested.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A man was shot in the leg and the torso during an argument Tuesday night in Long Island City, according to police and a news report.

The 26-year-old man was standing outside 45-50 Center Blvd. just after 9 p.m., arguing with someone sitting inside a black Jeep, when the person inside the car fired two shots at him, according to a police spokesperson and a Long Island City Post report.

A witness told police the driver fled south on Center Boulevard, according to an NYPD spokesperson.

The victim was brought to Cornell Hospital. Authorities have not released details on his condition.

As of midday Wednesday, no one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, police said.
