Man Stabs Subway Rider For Complaining About His Loud Music: NYPD
One Queens subway rider didn't like it when another passenger told him to turn down his music - so he stabbed him in the hand, police said.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS -- A man blasting tunes from his portable speaker aboard a Queens train didn't like it when a fellow passenger told him to pipe town - so he stabbed him in the back of his hand, police said.
The suspected subway nuisance was riding a a southbound 7 train into the Queensborough Plaza station at around 2:20 p.m. on Sunday when an annoyed 37-year-old passenger told him to lower the music coming from his speaker, cops told Patch.
The perp with the speaker then called the passenger a "b----" and him to "do something about it," and a physical fight broke out between the two, police said. The tussle ended with the suspect stabbing the fellow subway passenger in the back of his right hand and fleeing the train once it arrived at the Queensborough Plaza station, cops said.

The man was sent to Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, where he received five stitches for the cut to his hand, police said.
The NYPD released a photo of the suspected subway stabber on Sunday, who police described as a male in his 40s. He was last seen wearing a purple hoodie, a black vest and blue jeans.
