Woman Robbed By An Unknown Man At The Astoria Waterfront: Cops

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Police are still looking for a man who stole a woman's purse by the Astoria waterfront on the morning of Friday, May 28, according to the NYPD.

At around 8:30 a.m. on the final Friday in May, a 33-year-old woman was near Vernon Boulevard and 10th Street in Astoria when a man approached her and stole her purse, reported the cops.

Police said that he drove away from the area, going southbound on 11th Street, in a silver Infiniti sedan. The woman was not hurt in the robbery.

The cops did not describe the male assailant, but they included a photograph taken from a nearby location, where he can be seen with the purse in his hand.
