New Coronavirus Testing Site To Open In Astoria
A new testing site coming to Astoria will offer PCR tests — considered the gold standard — and promises results within 48 to 72 hours.
ASTORIA, QUEENS — A new coronavirus testing site is opening in Astoria next week, according to City Council Member Costa Constantinides.
The Dellamonica-Steinway Senior Center will offer molecular PCR tests, considered the gold standard in detecting the virus that causes COVID-19, with results available within 48 to 72 hours.
Tests will be available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. until the end of January, Constantinides said in a tweet.
