New Food Hall Opens In Long Island City

Beebe's, Crif Dogs and Taïm are among the eateries with new outposts inside the JACX&CO food hall.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A food hall opened Wednesday in Long Island City, putting a full plate of new food options on the table.

Called JACX&CO, the new food hall at 28-17 Jackson Ave. features nine eateries serving a variety of cuisines in an expansive dining area that can seat 215 people at full capacity, according to a news release.

Al Volo, Beebe’s, Crif Dogs, FIELDTRIP, Ghaya, Kissaki, Lotus + Cleaver, Méxology and Taïm have outposts in the food hall and will be accompanied by a full-service bar, which has not yet opened.

Food is available for indoor dining at 25-percent capacity and can be ordered for pick up or delivery through Bbot, a platform that allows diners to order from multiple eateries.

The food hall is on the plaza level of The JACX, a new office building, and was designed by INC Architecture & Design and Tishman Speyer.

“In designing and curating JACX&CO, we took our inspiration from the vibrant culture of the surrounding neighborhood with its diverse people, forward-looking art museums, and versatile dining experiences,” General Manager Daniel Cabrera said in a statement. “We’re honored to partner with these eateries and chefs to bring amazing food and an inviting gathering space for friends, family, co-workers and visitors in Long Island City.”
