Officials To Host Briefing On Astoria Library Renovation
Wondering about the status of the Astoria public library renovation? Officials will discuss the new design Monday.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — City Council Member Costa Constantinides, the Queens Public Library and the New York City Department of Design and Construction will update the community on the new design for the Astoria public library during a briefing Monday.
Constantinides will host the briefing at 12:30 p.m. over Facebook Live.
The renovation of the Astoria branch, at 14-01 Astoria Blvd., is part of a $25 million city investment in the area west of 21st Street.

In a news release, a spokesperson for Constantinides referred to that portion of Astoria as "a historically neglected and redlined area that saw generations of underinvestment."
