LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A person was hit by a G train in Bed-Stuy on Wednesday morning, halting the train's service between Long Island City and Brooklyn, according to transit officials.

The person was hit just before 11 a.m. at the Myrtle-Willoughby station, according to MTA alerts.

The alerts later showed that the person as hit at Bedford-Nostrand station, which officials said was a mistake.

There are no G trains running between Court Square and the Bedford-Nostrand station because of the incident, officials said.

Instead, people can take E, M or 7 trains from Court Square or L trains from Metropolitan Avenue for alternate routes.

The person who was hit was taken to Bellevue Hospital in Brooklyn, according to the fire department. There was no other information available about their condition.
