Rockaway 'Brew Cruiser' Will Drive LIC Residents To The Beach
Rockaway Brewing Co. has launched the Brew Cruiser, which will run every Saturday this summer between Long Island City and Rockaway Beach.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Long Island City residents have a new way to get to the beach.
Queens-based craft brewery Rockaway Brewing Co. has launched the Brew Cruiser, a mini-coach bus that will run every Saturday this summer between Long Island City and Rockaway Beach. Tickets cost $20 for a round trip.
Passengers can drink Rockaway Brewing's craft beers on board and purchase "beach packs" with beer growlers and cans for their beach excursion.

The 28-passenger bus will pick up beachgoers from Rockaway Brewing's Long Island City location at 46-01 Fifth St. and drop them off at Beach 73rd Street and Beach Front Road.
Passengers will meet at Rockaway Brewing's location at 415 Beach 72nd St. to head home.

The Brew Cruiser made its first trips on June 1 and will run until Labor Day Weekend, at the end of August.
