See The 200-Plus Astoria Restaurants Open For Outdoor Dining: Map

An interactive map shows all the restaurants and bars in Astoria that are now open for outdoor dining.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — More than 250 restaurants and bars in Astoria are now open for outdoor dining, as the city marks its second phase of reopening amid the coronavirus crisis.

A new map by the city Department of Transportation lets New Yorkers explore which spots in their neighborhood have opened up as part of the city's Open Restaurants program, which lets eateries set up tables on sidewalks or parking lanes.

More than 5,600 restaurants have signed up so far, including about 1,200 throughout Queens.

Of the 250-some businesses offering outdoor dining in the Astoria ZIP codes 11102, 11103, 11105 and 11106, 176 are serving alcohol, according to the city's map.

Outdoor dining is expected expand further over Fourth of July weekend, when select restaurants and bars will be allowed to set up seating on roadways that have been closed to traffic under the city's Open Streets program.
