Teenage Worker Threatened, Robbed By Man At LIC Gas Station: NYPD
The man handed the teen register worker a threatening note, which said there would be violent consequences unless the teen gave him money.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who threatened and robbed a teenage gas station worker in Long Island City last Saturday night.
Around 8:35 p.m. on Saturday June 19, a man entered the market of a BP gas station, located at 31-05 Queens Boulevard in Long Island City, and walked up to a 19-year-old worker at the register, according to the NYPD.
Police say that the man slipped the teenager a $1 bill, which had a written note on it demanding cash and threatening violence if the worker didn't comply. The teen handed over $250, and the man fled from the gas station with the money and the $1 bill that was emblazoned with the threatening note.

The cops did not give a description of the male robber, who remains unidentified as of Monday night, but included a photo from the store's surveillance footage.
Police say that the teenage worker wasn't injured.
