Woman Punched At Long Island City Subway Station: NYPD
Police are looking for the man who struck a woman in the head inside the 36 Street subway station in Queens.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS -- Cops are looking for the man who punched a woman on the head inside a Long Island City subway station and ran off.
The 45-year-old woman was standing inside the mezzanine of the 36 Street G and R train subway station at around 6:40 p.m. on Jan. 19 when the man struck her out of nowhere, police told Patch.
The woman suffered bruising to the back of her head, hand and ear from the blow, cops said.

Police described the suspect, who fled immediately afterward, as a clean shaven man with an average build who looked to be around 25-30 years old. He was last seen wearing a knit hat and scarf.
